Dave’s PNAS paper

Big congrats to Dave for publishing his PhD work in PNAS. The paper is a scrupulous examination of the genome of a bacterial giant (which also “gives birth” to offspring cells!), indicating that changes in metabolic competence may underpin evolution of cell size. Well done Dave!
